What stays on your device

SPRNT. saves your task names, task identifiers and completion states; the durations and completion times of finished sprints; and the current timer's duration, remaining time, running state and deadline. These records support your task list, daily totals and timer restoration after the app closes.

Records are saved in private Android app storage using shared preferences. The app relies on Android's app storage protections and does not add its own encryption layer. Task text is not included in notifications.

No developer collection or tracking

SPRNT. has no user accounts, advertisements, analytics or tracking SDKs. The app does not request Internet permission or transmit task, session or timer records to Tempered Labs or third parties. It processes these records locally to provide its timer, task list and daily statistics.

Notifications, alarms and restart access

On supported Android versions, the app requests notification permission when you start a sprint. Notifications can show a countdown, pause/resume actions and a completion alert. You may decline or disable notifications in Android Settings and continue using the timer. The operating system controls notification and lock-screen visibility, sounds, and availability of promoted Live Updates.

Alarm permissions support completion at a timer deadline while the app is in the background. Where exact alarm access is unavailable, an inexact alarm is used and the alert may be delayed. Boot access restores a saved timer after device restart; the app also restores alarms after an app update. These permissions do not provide access to your contacts, photos, location or other apps' content.

Backup, retention and deletion

SPRNT. is configured to exclude its private app data from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer using its manifest and backup rules. Actual backup or transfer behaviour may vary by Android version or device manufacturer. The app has no cloud sync, export or recovery service.

Tasks remain until you delete them in the task list or erase the app's data. Completed session records are retained locally for daily statistics; there is no automatic expiry or individual session deletion control. Timer state is updated as you use the timer.

To remove all saved tasks, sessions and timer state, use Android Settings → Apps → SPRNT. → Storage → Clear storage (wording varies by device), or uninstall the app. Clearing data removes your saved progress. The developer has no remote copy to retrieve or delete.

Google Play and your operating system

Google Play, Android and your device manufacturer may handle information independently under their own policies, such as store purchases or downloads and operating-system diagnostics. This policy describes the SPRNT. app's own data handling.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and its effective date if the app's data-handling practices change. Any applicable in-app disclosures will be updated as well.
